monday may 13th-
the week starts off with mars in taurus contraparallel the north node in scorpio at 12:21pm, echoing the mars/south node conjunction that was exact yesterday (sunday the 12th). the pull towards old karmic patterns of the past can be strong right now- especially after the last week which saw three planets align with the karmic south node. with mars involved we need to watch our anger, aggression and willfulness as it can get out of hand. we also need to be aware of our stubbornness, attachments and sense of entitlement. seeing where we are stuck and consciously choosing to get unstuck is key- although not easy right now! regular self check-ins are key ;)

the latter part of the day mercury triggers the uranus/pluto square which can make for a feisty, fiery afternoon and evening! to add to this mercury is aligned with the intense and passionate fixed star algol which can bring both the Light and the shadow of the Dark Feminine into play. at 4:53pm mercury in taurus conjunct algol semisquares uranus in aries, bringing sudden and electric communication, thinking and ideas. bolt out of the blue awarenesses can come in, but so can sudden eruptions of anger, aggression and negativity so watch out!

from 5:15pm to 9:26pm mercury aspects pluto by declination and degree- making for a super aspect that amplifies the intensity of this aspect. mercury contraparallels retrograde pluto in capricorn at 5:15pm and sesquiquadrates pluto at 9:26pm, bringing intense, deep, cathartic and passionate communication and thinking. this is great for getting to the root of issues and dealing with them. penetrating beneath the surface to get to the Truth is key! yet these aspects are intense so what gets unearthed may not be what you expected or wanted. watch out for power/control dynamics and subtle or over manipulation. be ruthlessly honest with yourself and others, but don't be ruthless!

the only aspect today occurs at 11:53pm when venus in gemini quincunxes retrograde saturn in scorpio, bringing tension between the Goddess of Love and beauty and the old task master. venus/saturn brings reality checks in finances and relationships. this can be a time of seeing and/or facing all that is NOT working in Love and money situations- which may not be fun but it can be fruitful if you pay attention and address what is coming up. if you feel love energy, depressed or just out of it in general- know that this, too, shall pass.

wednesday may 15th-
the only major aspect today involves mercury, the conscious mind and intellect.
at 1:41pm mercury moves out of taurus and into gemini, shifting the conscious mind and intellect out of earthy, stable and stubborn taurus and into airy, inquisitive and changeable gemini. mercury rules gemini and so he is very comfortable in this sign. our minds are raring to go and the desire to communicate, learn and travel is high! just watch out for the shadow side of mercury in gemini- the tendency to be all over the place, ungrounded and overly mental (monkey mind anyone?).

thursday may 16th-
the only aspects today involve the sun and its activation of the uranus/pluto square. forewarned is forearmed! at 11:55am the sun in taurus conjunct the fixed star algol semisquares uranus in aries and at 6:00pm the sun/algol sesquiquadrates retrograde pluto in capricorn. deep stuff is likely to be up right now- collectively and personally. the sun in taurus does not like disruptions or changes, but uranus/pluto is all about both! breakdowns precede breakthroughs, so whatever seems unstable or on shaky ground right now is where you should focus your energies so that you can move through the intensity towards the transformation available right now. with the sun on algol the Dark Goddess energies are potent, passionate and powerful. the best use of this energy to align with our inner center of power. just watch out for shadow expression of the Dark Goddess: victimization/giving away or having our power taken from us OR being full of anger and rage and taking it out on those around you.
