are you feeling the intensity of late? i keep hearing stories from friends, clients and even in the media of very intense, sudden and/or random things happening. endings, deaths, major shifts, closure, saying goodbye when we didn’t know we were ever going to have to. what is up with this?
well for one thing we are in the midst of MAJOR sagittarius activation. the north node is transiting there- so our evolutionary path points to where sadge falls in our natal charts (check your horoscopes for more info). yet out evolution opposes our karma and the pull towards the past- so it is not easy and often necessitates endings so that we can clear the way for our own growth and evolution. in addition to this we have the eclipses occurring on the sagittarius/gemini axis- with the solar eclipse in sagittarius that occurred on thanksgiving (11/24) and the lunar eclipse in gemini coming up on 12/10. the lunar eclipse will be conjunct the south node so there will be a lot of old emotional karma pulling at us to stay stuck in the past. DON’T DO IT! uranus stations direct just hours before the eclipse- making it even more radical, changeable, and exciting (or anxiety-producing!). expect shifts/endings of MASSIVE PROPORTIONS! you know it’s necessary, don’t you?
to top it off mercury has been retrograding through the eclipse portal corridor. mercury stationed retrograde on 11/23 at 20’07 sadge and will go direct again on 12/13 at 3’51 sadge. the solar eclispe on thanksgiving fell at 2’37 sadge right near where mercury stations direct, and the lunar eclipse will fall at 18’11 gemini which is opposite of where mercury began his retrograde. with mercury literally bookending the eclipse portal corridor we have massive activation of the powerful new beginnings and endings we are experiencing right now- yet a lot of it has been in the seed form as mercury retrograde is a time to rethink, rework, revise and review. once he stations direct on 12/13 and clears his shadow on 12/31 we are supported by his full direct power to take action and move on in our lives! that doesn’t mean that between now and new year’s eve you should sit around and wait though. now is the time to pay attention, take notes and start making plans- just allow for shifts and changes in the direction of your goals and the means by which you get there.
this is a particularly intense holiday season- but if we can see it as a time of purification in which we are asked to truly let go of all that does not support our growth and evolution we can stay attuned to the Higher Purpose. all of the sagittarius action is occurring on or near the great attractor (mercury cojoins it twice, the north node is there right now, the lunar eclipse is close to it)- a powerful point in the sky that is like the galactic center of many galaxies and universes, not just our own. it’s a potent point of evolution- it pulls us to get beyond ourselves and GROW! if that is the only thing you take away from this holiday season then you will be golden :)
stay awake and aware- and pay attention to your dreams! the lunar eclipse is next week on saturday the 10th…a lot is likely to happen between now and then.
